for 18th Consecutive Year
Advance Concrete Products accepts NPCA award for being one of the
longest continuously certified precast concrete plants in North America
(Highland, Michigan) – August 3, 2009 – For the 18th consecutive year, Advance Concrete Products, located in Highland, MI, has been awarded status as a National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) Certified Plant. Unannounced certification inspections were conducted in July. This designation recognizes Advance Concrete Products as a precast manufacturing plant dedicated to operating at the highest standards of production and quality. Many specifiers recognize NPCA certification as the benchmark for quality and require that precast concrete suppliers are certified for a minimum of 5 years in order to supply precast concrete on their projects.
To achieve certification, Advance Concrete Products was graded in several critical areas of precast concrete production including:
· Plant quality control procedures
· Concrete mixture and reinforcement design
· Production practices
· Pre-pour, post-pour and final inspections
· Concrete and aggregate testing
