Tom Wheat, an engineer with Prein & Newhof, was excited to win the brand new iPod by being the closest guesser to the actual weight of the concrete boot. He attended the 2013 Michigan Society of Professional Engineer's annual conference at the Grand Traverse Resort. After all of the years Prein & Newhof has specified Advance Concrete's precast concrete buildings, Tom was due for some good luck, (or was it a precise calculation)? Congratulations Tom!
James Smits with Interface H20 came within .60 lbs of the true weight of the concrete boot to win an iPod at the 2013 Michigan Drain Commissioner's Conference at Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan. Thanks to everyone who visited our booth and guessed the weight. Tim Mattice with Lowe Construction out of Horton, Michigan won the "Guess the Weight of the Concrete Boot" contest at the 2013 Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association Trade Show to win an iPod.
